STECCOM helps track Persian leopards
Today two Persian leopards, a male Kodor and a female Laba, were released into the wild in the Caucasus. The animals are equipped with the Lotek satellite collars to track their movements. The data transmission on the animals location is provided by STECCOM under an agreement with the World Wildlife Fund. Data service is provided via the Iridium constellation of communication satellites.
