STECCOM solution for animal monitoring
On the uninhabited island of Zavyalov in the Sea of Okhotsk, a group of bighorn sheep were released into the wild. To observe the process of adaptation of animals to new conditions, the Loteck Iridium satellite collars were put on a few specimen. STECCOM provides data transmission services for animal tracking. The project is being implemented by the Expedition-Tour company as part of a program to create an eco-park and a tourist and recreational complex on the island.
The STECCOM IoT solution for animal monitoring is in high demand in the field of agriculture and nature management. Today, with the help of this service hundreds of different animals (deer, horses, bighorn sheep, Arctic foxes, tigers and leopards) are under observation.
